Returning to the booth is Harry Doyle (Bob Uecker), providing his signature colorful play-by-play, while team owner Rachel Phelps (Margaret Whitton) schemes to the hilt. Adding to the lineup is Randy Quaid, who joins as a marvelously motor-mouthed bleacher bum. Major League II is major fun, as the Indians navigate their newfound fame and work to reclaim their position at the top.
The sequel picks up where the original left off, with the Cleveland team having achieved the remarkable turnaround from the worst to the first in their division. However, this newfound success brings its own challenges, as the players must adapt to the added attention and perks that come with being a winning team.
